I don’t know about your experience on Nextdoor but around here (county population 40k, during high season) it’s likely the post I’m currently reading is from 3 weeks ago.
Here it's fits and starts. Most of the stuff—tree removers, holiday yard sales and the like—is indeed ancient-old but there's nothing that sparks the imagination around here like nefarious animals, teens being seen without their parents (or their LoJacks), and what everyone thinks about tourists. Those are usually hotbeds of activity.
An epic adventure that takes the reader on an historical odyssey from 17th century France to the Lincoln Presidency, from the final days of the Third Reich to the Great Dam of Time where the eternal Time Beavers battle to protect the very essence of reality! 48 pages, Paperback. First published May 1, 1985.
Very interesting. Other homo sapiens have tried to defeat the beavers in their water engineering projects. No one has been successful, or at least in recorded history, there is no human success story. None.
If I can make a suggestion, I would tell your neighbours to join the Beaver Revolution. It will happen eventually; might as well join now.🦫🦫🦫
First of all, you’re on Nextdoor? 😅 Second, weren’t you worried about Time Cop?? Or at least Time Animal Control Agents? This all sounds like some kind of a suburban dystopian Looper where the Loopers are 🦫!!
Well, my experience has taught me to maintain a constant level of suspicious awareness around any mammals with superior engineering and time travel skills. Looper Beavers are definitely a concern.

{cue a music mashup: Cops + X-files + Sanford & Son}
😄 Much more of the latter than the former two but yeah, if that were possible that'd be perfect.

Oh wow, there is truly nothing new under the sun. 😄 Well, I'm just going to have to go ahead and read that now.

Very good point and I would just like to state publicly, here for the record, that I for one welcome our new beaver overlords.
🤣 ⌚🦫
In all honesty, some parts of the voiceover took me about a dozen tries, it was just too ridiculous. 😄
Creative and light-hearted.
